Re: Muhammad Ali
Some of the things he said about Joe Frazier don't look too great nowadays. Suppose it depends if he gets judged by the standards of his times or ours. Arguably the most famous man in the world, or has that dimmed a bit?

Not as good as Harrison but Ali had his moments to be fair.

Re: Muhammad Ali
Probably one of the major figures of the 20th Century

Almost as influential as Audley Harrison

Re: Muhammad Ali
A great boxer and a memorable life.

As mentioned below, though, his behaviour towards Joe Frazier should not be ignored.

Re: Muhammad Ali
Ali from Al Farooq Kebabish's CV is far more impressive than Audley's.

1997 to Present - Worked at Al Farooq Kebabish

2009 - Completed a day's customer service course, purchased from Groupon

Re: Muhammad Ali
What a character!

Nothing in Boxing like him before or since. A one off legend who had the balls to give attitude to whitey before the civil rights movement and rap music made it normal.

THE Greatest.

Really?

I've always said that he is one of a handful of famous people whose death would genuinely affect me.

I have two sportsman's (signed) photo's in my house... Mooro & Ali... that is all.....

Oh I do however have photo's of Kauto Star, Frankel, Secretariat, Seabiscuit, Balck Caviar, Snow Fairy, Cigar, Zenyata & Rachel Alexandra in my hall way... unfort' they are all unsigned....

As per the post below... If you lived in Ali's time when he was stopping the world.... and the World did stop when he fought... you lived in a time of wonder of absolute sporting joy and theatre.... no one has close since... and I will mourn the day he goes just like I did when our greatest son died in 92...
